The Hunt

Obtaining a Texas Hunting License

Release of Liability Form

Weather in the Texas Panhandle can vary drastically from day to day. During the cooler months, it can be snowing with single digit temperatures one day, and back to 70 the next. In the warmer months, it can range from 60 degrees to 100+ degrees. Check the weather for Childress, Texas before your trip. It is highly recommended to dress in layers of clothing when at the ranch.

The Canyon House at Rustic River Ranch is a fully furnished operation. Food & linens are included, but you’ll need to bring your personal toiletries. Alcohol is permitted when at the lodge (not when hunting of course), but is not furnished. BYOB if you wish to partake.
